After a successful career in law in Louisiana and Texas, Miriam & her family decided to move home, to the beach. She has been selling real estate in this area since 2000, and became a licensed Broker in 2005.

Miriam’s legal background and brokerage experience gives our team an advantage in negotiating deals and drafting contracts . She has been involved in sales in TND (Traditional Neighborhood Developments) communities such as Rosemary Beach, Watercolor and Watersound, as well as the general 30-A area. She also has experience assisting developers with permitting, platting, design codes, C&Rs, sales centers and marketing materials.

Prior to becoming a partner in Grayton Coast Properties, Miriam was one of the top agents at Davis Properties of NW Florida, with over $15 million in sales from 2004-2005. Assisting customers in marketing their property or in locating new property is a challenge Miriam enjoys. Her attention to detail, relationships with bankers, appraisers, title companies, home inspectors, etc., all contribute to smooth, successful transactions.

Miriam has a passion for our community and is heavily involved in education. She is a past Chairman of the Seaside Neighborhood School Board of Directors, former chair of the SWCC Education Committee and is the current Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the South Walton Montessori Academy, the area’s first private school.

Since 1999, Miriam and her husband James have owned the Summer Kitchen Café in Rosemary Beach where James is the Chef. With one child in college, one in high school and one in elementary school, free time is all about family time. You’ll find the family enjoying evenings on the beach or listening to live music in one of our many outdoor venues.
